- GED Practice Tests - These are not official practice tests but can be used for informal assessment and practice
- poll everywhere - We didn't get to use this during the session. This allows participants to use their cell phones to participate in a poll and the results can be viewed instantly on a web page or PowerPoint presentation. It could be used during presentations and in the classroom.
- WizIQ webinar website - This website allows you to host webinars with students or for meetings.

Learning together: Using webinars to build a community of distance learners
Distance education doesn't mean that a learner has to work in isolation. Webinars (online meetings) provide ways for distance teachers and learners to create a community of learning. This presentation will share how Pennsylvania distance teachers have used webinars with learners, show free webinar software, and discuss webinar facilitator tips.
“Managing” distance learning integration: Using a managed instruction approach for distance learning
Pennsylvania has offered distance learning for adult basic education learners for over nine years. Recently, Pennsylvania switched from an open enrollment to managed enrollment distance learning program. This session will discuss how the change was made, benefits for learners and teachers, and future direction of distance learning in Pennsylvania.
